Overview

Welcome to the 2020 MASO Annual Session Virtual On-Demand Educational Webinars.  We’ve got an exciting line-up of speakers and topics for you!  While 2020 did not turn out how anyone could have imagined, the MASO Annual Session Program Committee was committed to bringing high-quality education to its members, in spite of having to cancel its in-person meeting in Baltimore due to COVID-19.

Twelve speakers – 6 men and 6 women – will energize and educate you on a variety of topics that are pertinent to today’s practice environment.  Their presentations are concise, their materials are well referenced, and they are exceptional speakers.

Scaling up your practice while scaling down your stress.  Direct-to-consumer healthcare.  The impact of the COVID-19 pandemic on orthopedic practices in the U.S. Working with stressed parents, patients, and doctors.  How to get in the best shape of your life during a pandemic.  Navigating into the dental ankylosis world. Biological boundaries to tooth movement in a new age of orthodontics.  The new normal of millennial orthodontics.  Orthodontic standards of care. Airway and periodontal rational for orthopedic skeletal development in the primary and early mixed dentition. Effective communication, virtual surgical planning, and airway considerations.  Class III treatment option with skeletal anchorage.

The committee was fortunate to keep most of the original speakers it contracted with on the program.  Zoom conferences have become a way of life for many professionals — meeting with colleagues, residents, students, staff and clients.  Our speakers quickly became Zoom experts and adapted throughout the pandemic.   They modified their topics to match the current circumstances wherever possible, and the 2020 meeting will be one of the best offerings MASO has ever produced!

These on-demand educational webinars will be available for viewing starting Friday, October 23 at 8:00 AM. The webinars will be available, at your convenience, between October 23 and December 31.  For a small fee, a total of 9 CE credits can be earned for completing all the webinars.
